We want to keep Northumberland and it’s cultural workers and infrastructure feeling vibrant and supported and that starts with us.
Spotlight on the Northumberland skies
It was a wonderful year for Northumberland skies with some of us spotting The Northern Lights from our homes. There are some fantastic photos of this incredible phenomenon online. If you missed it and you’re keen to know about the potential of future sightings, you can join a facebook group to help.
We are hoping some awards will be given out to some of the professional photographers who captured this once in a life time event with some stunning Northumberland scenery.
Dates for your Diary
You can also go star gazing in dark skies over at Keilder Observatory or learn night time navigation or about wildlife at night on Hadrians Wall?
Perhaps even join in a 26 mile run at night?
