"I have no idea how we resolve this, is that a lot of people who responded to the research said, we don't actually know what's on in Northumberland."
Andrea Perrett
Welcome to our ‘relaunched’ podcast for Culture Northumberland.
Over the next few months we will publish episodes which focus on important research with artists and organisations based in Northumberland.
This work is part of a “pause project”.
A project in collaboration with North East Cultural Freelances and funded by Northumberland County Council.
It’s rooted in ‘deep listening’ and hopefully a better cross sector understanding of where our project meets those who use it ‘post pandemic’.
It is our ambition to hear a cross section of voices and experiences from those who plug into the cultural sector in Northumberland and understand more about their worlds, partners and ambitions.
This second episode is with Andrea Perrett who is Business and Operations Director at Morpeth based performing arts company November Club
November Club creates exceptional and remarkable theatre in unusual places from their home in Northumberland.
They tell original stories primarily through performance and work in unusual places and spaces. They take a structured approach to developing local artistic and creative talent. They develop models of working with communities and partners to enrich our work.
