Good afternoon all.

How has your week been?

Claire here. I’m aiming to publish more of the behind the scenes of our current research into the possibilities for Culture Northumberland. I’m 2/3 of the way through a series of conversations with artists, small arts companies and venues.

A few weeks back I met with Leila D’aronville, Director of North East Cultural Freelancers and cultural champion extraordinaire.

Leila and I talked about the themes of Leadership, Generosity and Reciprocity in our work with our unique filters as women with over twenty years experience of working in the Cultural sector in the North East.

We talk about a range of topics within the over arching themes above.

We talked of modelling, payment, being paid in advacne, on time, charging our worth, self worth, wellbeing, mental health, progress, cost of living, sharing and so much more. I really hope you enjoy this conversation and it sparks something for you.
